I just installed my alarm and everything works except lock and unlock function.

I used Green/White for lock and Green/Red for unlock and connected directly to the wires from alarm main unit.
and this is where i splice the wires.(circled with blue pen)


are these right wires and right location to connect?

 

noone had installed alarm by themselves?

 

id like to know why in the hell my doolocks on my civic dont work, there is power to everything, they just dont unlock or lock

 

i know that you shouldn't use those quick-connect thingy...the guy that does all the alarm installs for my shop solders everything, and yelled at me when i attempted to put my alarm in and used those things...says they are very bad...can cause fires. wait, that's what those little fire extingiushers are for, isn't it?

 

check your alarm brain and make sure the toggle for that option is on

+ is white/black? i checked the12volt.com and bulldogsecurity.com and they both say Green/White (-), Door Unlock Green/Red (-) and honda used - wires. not +. can you double check? thanks

I checked and you were right on the colors and polarity.
on me,one of our books was wrong and the other 2 had the same colors as you did.
I would check to see if it is part of the programing.

 

hey can you re-up that picture, its not coming up. I need to see where you spliced the wires. I can't find the door open trigger wires, or the door unlock and lock wires. If you or anyone could highlight those for me somehow, it would be great.
