Welp...my Apexi filter is about 1/2" too long...Small K/N or HKS foam?...=(

Damn CRX. I test fitted my SC50 today to find out that it's pretty much impossible to mount my Apexi filter.

My only 2 options now (not going with a screen) are a tiny *** K/N or one of those HKS foamys.

which would you choose?

The tiny a$$ K&N filter, I have never had good luck with the foam filters. It may just be me though, they (HKS) are supposed to be good filters.
It is kinda hard to beat a easily found affordable K&N though.

damn that sucks... apexi filters are so nice too... have any pix of your setup?

maybe we may be able to think of something you might not have.

I might be able to get a 3" 90 degree silicon bend and fit it in there like that, but I'm still not too sure of the clearance.

I don't have any good pics.

I made this post to see which filter most people would reccomend if I do in-fact HAVE to get a smaller one.
