Default Velocity stack or Apexi filter?

Would i be able to use the velocity stack with the Apexi filter? if not, which one would make more power?

I'm not sure what your question is. A velocity stack by itself will obviously flow better than any kind of filter element. That said, a well designed filter shouldn't impede flow all that much, and will keep your intake air nice and clean. The A'PEXi filter is an excellent design in terms of filtering ability and flow characteristics. It's internal structure functions as a velocity stack, with a cone-shaped top piece and an angled/beveled baseplate. The only drawback to the A'PEXi filter is that it's a dry element type filter, meaning you don't clean and oil it like typical K&N style filters. While this is better for flow, it also means tthat you have to replace the filter once it's reached the end of its lifespan. The filters themselves are about $60-65.

when i said which ones makes more power, i was referring to either the Velocity Stack w/ K+N filter, or just the Apexi Filter itself.
