Default Help!! My car sounds like a V-8!!!

Okay, I need help guys!! I recently got my ECU (p-28) chipped to *Mugen Specs* I have a B16A w/ CTR intake cam and ITR exhaust cam. I have a full race port polish. My compression is 10.9:1. After I plugged the ecu in, it worked fine. Until one morning (today) my car sounded like a V8, a broke *** V8. In the morning when I turn the ignition on, the rpm stays below 1000 rpm. Sounds like the engine is struggling. like a v8. Also when I rev it up to 3-5 grand to keep the rpm up, smoke comes out and drops below 1000 rpm again. My stock B16A ecu doesn't do this but when I tried my friend's Skunk2 Ecu, it did the same. Car runs normal later on. Pulls hard when Vtec kicks in also. just in the morning it does this when the engine is cold. PLEASE help!!! Am I running too rich? Does anyone have this problem with a chipped ecu??? HELP!!!!!!

Wayyyy too rich. Either that or you have a bad cap & rotor.

When I put the stock B16A2 ecu on my car, the car idles fine. Even in the morning. Its only when I put the chipped ECUs. Also my check engine light doesn't come one when I put the chipped ecu. It comes on when I put the stock ECU in there.

Oh yeah, another thing. My car's rpm goes up and down when I warm up my car (w/ chipped ecu).
