Need Some Input From Nitrous Users on my B20vtec nitrous setup.
Hello All
I wanted to get a setup to break into the 13's EASY on street tires and 12's on drag radials.
I have the following:
b20b bottom end
b16a2 head
AEM CAI
Adjustable FPR+Gauge
ACT 6-puck clutch
I was planning on running a 75shot zex (like to keep it simple), but not sure if that would be enough. I know nitrous can run on high compression also, but with my low compression b20vtec (i believe its 9.2:1 or so with a b20b bottom end + b16a2 head + OEM headgasket) i figured there was an extra safety blanket.
lemme know if you think this is enough to achieve my goals
thanks,
mike

I would go 80 direct port. Dp is much better because of the even distribution.
I cracked my stock b20 sleeves at a 120 shot. My c/r was 11-1 I ran high 11's

Need to know a little more about your setup. I am guessin it is a GSR or civic coupe right?
Is it a stock sleeved B20? If so, then a 70 shot at most, unless you get some bigger injectors and tune the thing. The sleeves will crack in that block since they are one piece casting with vey little detonation. At least that is what I have been told and read about that block.

damn you brian
stop tempting me..
and as for being close to 13's stock N/A in an EX coupe...probably not
14.8 was my best on street tires and the low-compression b20b bottom end

i know all about the sleeves and hear tons of rumors I mean I DO have the setup right? It didn't magically appear in my engine bay without research. Not trying to be an ***, but I ask about N/A stuff + FI stuff and get hearsay from people who have heard "rumors" and haven't experienced it first hand. And yea, stock sleeves...sleeving would probably have been a big mod to list i think
thanks again fellas,
mike
