I think that "You need a cage in the car" will be the general response.

HPDE, right? Just drive, you're going to be slow anyway. It's a completely new environment that you have to get used to, and you definitely won't be ready for it. Just ask the Viper owners on their first time out.
You aren't experiencing strut tower deflection so there is no need for a tower bar beyond chassis stiffening. I have a front which is nice to lean on when I working on the car, but I really don't see a use for the rear. Skip 'em.

so what you describe is doing schools, DE's, track days... *NOT* road racing (wheel to wheel).
Get an autopower 4-point rollbar and some camlock belts, leave the STB's out and mount up a decent sized rear sway bar - it really doesnt matter what you use at this point since you'll be a novice. In fact... you can also leave the sway bars out too until you get an event or two done. Run the stock front sway bar.

i'll give you a more specific answer...
If you really need to upgrade your suspension...
Get a ST rear bar. Don't worry about the front sway bar, the stock SI bar is just fine.
enjoy yourself and drive within your limits.

not like i am a tracj guru, but id think u should leave the swaybars stock untill u see how the suspension is. i don't know how many track days u have done, nor do i know what spring rates are. but if ur pritty new to track days, id think leave the bars stock till u see how the car is. a big rear bar will make the car oversteer. aand if ur not used to it, it could get ugly real fast. i know on my ef i run 12k/6k and sus tech 22mm rear bar. i havent run it at circut yet, but at autocross it comes 'round pritty well.

nice....i was thinking about a GSR one or even an ITR bar but the chassis is a 91 DX hatch...not Si. the suspension setup i have are Tein HAs with pillow mounts on all 4 corners with lower control arms...will the size of the rear sway bar change with this suspension setup?
