Definately AEBS!
It is more expensive but well worth it IMHO! Do it once and do it right.

Darton
RS
Benson
This question will go nowhere. Its all a matter of opinion. AEBS and GE are both good companies, and both sleeves perform well.

I'm not going to recommend another company due to the fact I have only had experience with Golden Eagle.
Their customer service was great.

NO RS Machine uses there own sleeves and I believe install Darton's in osme apps as well, GEM is their own company. AEBS has their own sleeves as well in fact Dartons were exactly the same and since AEBS patented their T Sleeves Darton is now on their third version. I personally had problems with Golden Eagle sleeves sunk TWICE but their have been many others that have GOOD LUCK with them not me or anyone local to me. AEBS sells their own sleeves and installs them also.

oh sorry for the confusion i was just focusing on becuase import-builders has there blocks built by RS-Machines, so i thought that RS put in the GE sleeves, heh missunderstanding on my part
Id say GE. I personally know someone who has had a bad experience with them but from my own experiences I can only say good things. Recently my head bolt holes in the block got stripped and the head lifted. I called Vince at GE and told him I blew a gasket. He didnt ask one question at all about what happened or anything. The very next day I had a new headgasket at my door free of charge.
to GE and their customer service.

Well your two candidates are pretty far apart in price? Any reason you narrowed it down to these two companies? If you have the $ i'd go with aebs
. Have you looked into other companies such darton, rs machine, ect..?

AEBS sleeves are made by Darton i thought. AEBS does have a patent on the sleeve design but the sleeves are actually manufactured in house at Darton, then sent to AEBS to be installed.
Darton's sleeves are damn close to the same design as AEBS...i actually like Darton better.
But if it is between AEBS and GE there is no question. GE doesn't even offer a closed deck sleeve that i'm aware of. But you are going to pay a pretty big differece for the better designed sleeve.

I would suggest GE for the price and the quality of the product. I have mde over 600whp and had them in my car for 2yrs now w/o 1 single issue. we built 2 more GE blocks last month that have performed flawlessly.

Agreed. My block is there now as well. Ted is a class act guy no question. Anyone that knows me a little bit will know Im the biggest undecisive **** there is and his patience with me through all of this is second to none.
All of GEM whenever I call or email are extremely helpful and fast to respond, especially considering their work load (which includes who knows how many people calling them asking them silly questions and then never ever forking over the dough to have them do work).
