How to remove flywheel?
Sorry if this is a dumb question but.........
How do you remove the bolts from the flywheel?
Do i need to use some sort of wrench on the crank to keep it from moving?
If anyone has an easy wya of doing it, I'd love to hear it!
thnx,

Impact gun.
If you dont have one, you must lock the flywheel. You can put a screwdriver through
one of the clutch bolt holes and brace it against the block next to the oil pan.
Its not easy though.

remove tranny, and then remove clutch, and then there the flywheel..simply just use a impact wrench like sGt said or the screw driver method..probaly need two people in order to do dat..
Actually I used a breaker with a 19mm on the crank side and proped it against the ground.
Then was able to get the bolts off the flywheel. I wish i had an impact gun/air tools
thnx for all the help.

Am I the only one who thinks using an impact gun on (or around) your main crank is a truly bad idea? Nothing is worse on bearings then the kind of shock loads impact guns create?
Why not use the right tools as suggested in the Honda manual? There exists a ring gear lock to hold the flywheel while the bolts are carefully removed/installed with a non-impact ratchet. Remember your going to want to torque them down properly when you re-install them! But hey it's your engine!
