should i torque the clutch?
From what i remember the pressure plate is 19lbs and the flywheel bolts are 76lbs.I got that using the search button
Im sure someone can confirm because 19lbs seems a little low but alot of threads i read said the same thing.

If you don't torque the clutch, I guarantee it will not work right.
Watch what happens to the fingers when you tighten it down. If you don't have them all exactly even, at the same torque, you'll get shuddering engagement.

I had to drop a tranny just because the clutch bolts somehow got loose. Don't forget to use some loc-tite, it's a pain starting it up and then it not going into gear.
I triple check now.

yes the pressure plate torque is 19ft-lbs and the flywheel is 76ft-lbs. if you don't torque down the pressure plate then you don't get the fingers to press down or inward evenly, like they are supposed to. good luck

I've done a few clutch jobs before.....Air gun always seems to work fine for me. I only torque down really technical things, especially everything on the head.

just torque it down, you're already in there right? might as well do it right the first time than have to pull the tranny because a bolt backed out and tore **** up. save yourself a headache.
