Hi guys. I just ordered some new wheels and tires, so i was wondering what you guys think about these alignment specs. I'm only concerned about the rear numbers; i have the front properly set.

My main question is: will this rear camber chew up my tires because of the difference between the numbers? Please check it out:

REAR:
Left Toe: 0.05
Left Camber: 0.0
Right Toe: 0.04
Right Camber: -1.5

There is a 1.5" drop (H&R). I'm using the rear bolt and washer trick on both sides of the car, only 1 washer for the left and right.

Can i take out the washer from the left side of the car to add some negative camber to help even things out? Should i add a washer to the right side to get some extra positive camber? Or, is this setup ok? I know that 0 camber isn't great for handling, etc. but i just can't afford to have to purchase new tires every so often.

if its within Honda specs than i think it should be alright.

as far as i know honda specs say no more than -1 degree of camber.

 

The alingment printout that i have says that 0 to -2 is within spec.
My concern is that because one side is -1.5 and the other is 0, will this cause significant uneven tread wear?

 

It shouldn't be off by that much between each side. I would suspect suspension damage somewhere, maybe the trailing arm, maybe the LCA, or something else.

FWIW I'm running -2.3 in front and -1.9/-2.1 in back for camber and I've had no problems with uneven tire wear over the past 35K miles. Proper toe settings and frequent tire rotation are key.

 

Do you guys suggest that i invest in a rear camber kit to replace my ghetto washers?

 

 

do something, take that washer out or put one in on the oposite side, but get that biatchh straight!
