I tried using a drill bit, and it didn't work because the point just made the pin expand more. Best thing to do is find a 8mm punch,
readily available at your local hardware store.

Do NOT try to use a phillips head screwdriver as posted a bit earlier. I tried it and got this.
Getting the bastard back out after it pushed itself through the pin was a hooker. Especially after the screwdriver handle came off. (yeah cheap screwdriver)

the tranny is off the car already, i don't know what i'm going to try and use to take this ****** out, maybe a screw driver because i don't have that drill bit

Naw you can go from top to bottom if the motor is already out. DO you have an air compressor? IF so go get an air hammer, problem will be solved. IF not ughh good luck

You're probably going to need a new spring pin because that one is probably mangled to hell and back.

the correct i tool is a roll pin punch, use a 3m tapered. but i am standind on the floor with the car in the air it is a little easier. but a roll pin punch has a nipple that sits in the center os the pin as you hit it with the hammer.
I always use a A/C Compressor bolt.I found that to work good because it has a pointed end that fits perfectly into the "bitch" pin. Then the 12mm head of the bolt profides enough width to get a good hit on it.

actually the one i got out is perfect, it slid out with no problems, i was just tapping lightly so nothing would happen. That's why it took 5 minutes, haha
