Its the stud all the way to the left.. broken while trying to install turbo.. whats the best way to get it out?? Should I just use one of those screw out kits, that you drill a pilot hole into then drill the screw out bit in and reverse it out? I know someone else had to have encountered this. I need to know asap. Thanks guys!!

where is it broken?

is there an end you can grap with vice grips?

Is the exhaust mani off or on?

I'd recomend taking off the mani and trying to get it out with vice grips... if that doesn't work go for the screw-out... but those things are kinda hit or miss.

Here is the way to do it right. I know this works because I had the same problem and I got this tool at Sears which is also my workplace. I call it the "hammer in type screw remover" should be in the automotive specialty section by the tap & die sets. Any way you just drill a small hole in the stud and hammer that into the hole, find a small 12point socket(1/4 inch I think) that fits on the end and twist it off. You will probably need a small size and drill the hole smaller than the tool so when you hammer it in it creates enough resistance. It's a great tool to have I have used it probably 6 times alredy, I even used it on the small screws that hold the rotors to the hub on Hondas, those are always a bitch.
