New swap ran for a day and a half, then died?? HELP!
I finished my swap (B18C into 93 DX w/ intake and exhaust) on Saturday. It ran fine the rest of the day. On Sunday, it gave me no problems at the autox event. However, later that afternoon it died on me while giving a friend a ride in my new toy. I ripped through the gears to about 80 mph, then let off and downshifted to slow to the speed limit. When I got back on the throttle, the engine coughed and sputtered. By the time I pulled it off the road, it stalled and has refused to start ever since. When it cranks over, it almost sounds like it isn't getting fuel.
The filter was old, so I replaced it and I verified that fuel is getting to the fuel rail. The injectors have power, too. I doublechecked the timing belt and it did not skip a tooth. I checked for codes and there weren't any. If I think of any other details, I'll let you know. Does anyone have any idea where I should start my diagnosis?

Well first off crank it a few then pull the plugs and check to be sure your getting fuel in each cylinder, just because theyre getting power and fuel doesnt mean 1 or 2 isnt clogged. Then rip open your dizzy and look for any odd signs, fine brown powder, loose rotor etc. Check the wires and plugs too. Its a good start.
