b18b turbo vs h22 turbo
Hey guys, sorry if this is a repost... I was lookin into getting a b18b for my 92 cx hatch, then later going with a turbo.... but i started to think about the h22.. its compression isnt that high...makes more power for about 300 bucks more... but takes a lot more to get it in w/ axles/ mounts/ upgraded cooling ... so i guess do you guys think its worth it to do an h22 over the b18b?
it will cost you butt loads more cash than 300 bucks to get an h22 in your eh unless you are finding b18b's for 3000+
If memory servers, there was a thread on here a while back in the EG+ forum, and the average price of buying the h22 + getting all the parts to install it came out to just about 4000.
In my opinion, the H series sucks in a civic. manifolds are harder to come by too.

Ya, the selection of manifolds for the h22 are slim, it took me forever to find one I liked!!
And some poeple think that the h22 adds to much weight to the front end of a civic.
