Smell... shady....
OK, I'm guessing the previous owner of my Teg left the windows open one night or something, and water got in, because it smells kinda funky. I've tried many different methods in attempts to ditch the smell, but its still around. As of right now, I'm just giving it basic touch-ups with Febreeze, but I would like to find out how other people got rid of this problem if they've had it. Any suggestions?
BTW, please don't flame, just looking for any other ideas to try

Clean the engine with Simple Green or Orange Blast (Gunk reeks) and run the air in the car while driving around.
The Febreeze never lasted long enough. Wash down the whole interior, carpet cleaner, vynal polish, windex and let it air out.

Seriously... If you have a water problem, and you dont mind having rice in your car, sprinkle rice on the floors (Rears usually so that it doesn't get ground into the carpet) and the rice will eventually soak up the moisture/water... especially now that its starting to get hot out... Change the rice out every 4-5 days, and it will help keep it dry.
And then this always helps for a good smell...
Think its time to wash the carpet and everything. Do the seats smell or is it the carpet?
Take a day or two, strip the interioer and wash all the cloth. Best bet.
