Default air conditioner problem

Hey H-T whats up?

Heres my problem..

Everytime i run my air conditioner, im getting a pretty big water leak inside the car. What happens is that ill have the A/C on for a little while and everything seems fine. Then ill go around a turn while driving and water will pour out down by my gas pedal and soak my foot Anybody have an idea as to what would be causing this and how to fix it? TIA

Condensation... There's supposed to be drains in there somewhere so that water can run out onto the street. They're probably plugged with crud. I never had mine apart so I don't know exactly where they are.

Maybe http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org has a picture that'll help? It's probably a PITA to take all that apart...

That is strange that it is falling on the driver side. The evaporator core, which is the part that builds up all that condensation is on the passenger side. Last summer my drain hose that attatched the HVAC box fell off, so water leaked on the passenger side. Look back behind the glove box for anything of the sort. That hose may be plugged and could cause the water to drain off somewhere else once it gets to a certain level.

The drain hose is by the passenger's footwell, you'll see a hose from the evaporator behind the glove box go through the firewall. If the hose is plugged, it's possible that water can accumulate to the point where it will leak from the floor vents and over to the driver's side on right turns. This hose can be detached from the evaporator housing and cleaned out, as can the nipple to which it's mounted.
