Default Need Help - Question RE: Code 2 - 2nd O2 Sensor

I have never had my 2nd O2 sensor connected and finally after about 6mos with my PR3 ECU,I get a Code 2. Should I hook up 2nd O2 or is there a way to loop sensor data from the 1st O2 sensor? Chipping out the 2nd O2 would be my last option.

Thanks

If you haven't had a problem for six months why dont you just reset your ECU and wait another 6 months for it to throw a code again?

What is a Pr3 ECU?

I am running a 96 P72 ECU, and it doesn't throw a code 2 as long as my 2nd o2 sensor is connected....I just leave the one I have hanging.

it is always safe to make sure that everything is install properly. its that little thing in your head that makes people worried a lot. a PR3 ecu are the ecu's used on 88-91 honda civics b16a. 92 to 95 uses OBDI and etc........
