P13 vs P14 and o2 sensor
Hey, I was just wondering everyones thoughts on the following question:
Why would a P13 ecu throw a O2 sensor code (1) and run like crap and a P14 would NOT throw a code and run fine?
Is there some kind of difference between the way they handle the O2 sensor?

Put in your O2 sensor? Is the ecu expecting a different voltage/current or something?
4bidden did you replace the O2 sensor on your car when you did the swap?

damn O2 sensors. i swear when they can figure a way to elimate these little bastards i will buy 50 of them. i guess standalone might i dont know. but u know what im saying. O2 sensors are very sensitve to any kind of cleaners or anything like that. dont forget they are only $200 and somting dollars from honda.
Both ECUs are OBD1. The P13 is a JDM and the P14 is USDM.
I actually purchased a new O2 sensor (oxygensensors.com) and it still threw a code on the P13...P14 was fine as usual. Both O2 sensors are within resitance specs according to Helms. Voltage between Wht and Grn/Wht wires on the engine side of the O2 sensor connector is > .4 volts on both ECUs. The other two wires on the connector (for the o2 heater) show battery voltage.
As 4bidden said, his ecu throws the code in my car as well. Is there anything else outside the O2 sensor circuit that can cause a code 1? Exhaust leak maybe? Bad TPS?
