damn, I just bought some new rims for my car 17's with 205/40's and had them on for 3 f----- days, and some dumbdasses decided to slash a 4 tires. I'm so freakin pissed right now. I looked at the tires and noticed that the knife or object used went straight through the side wall, about an 1-1.5 inches wide. can this be patched or fixed. I sure hope so cuz I'm out of money to put new tires on.

 

Sorry for the bad luck, but I've heard that sidewall punctures cannot be patched due to the stress that goes through it.

yup. slashes in the sidewalls means the tires are trash. get some kumho their cheap (when you got the money)

 

Yup, they can't be patched. If you have full coverage, check with your insurance.

 

how good of qaulity are the kumho's? for the price they ware 59 a piece at tire rack, not bad.. what are your thoughts

 

I love my Kuhmo 712's...good grip and quite sticky even in the wet. Wear well also. Just my 0.02 Good luck
