Take off the header, they don't really do anything except make you car quieter anyways.

Well aftermarket exhausts make more power because they flow more air than stock. Now imagine how much more air you could flow if you just got rid of that stupid exhaust. That **** be soundin' mad phat yo.

Sorry, I'm just really bored at work and acting stupid. No, do not take off the header, it will just make the car really loud(I've done it before). If all you want is noise then go get an N1 muffler or take off the muffler. If you want to gain power then go buy a header and a good catback exhaust, not only will it make more power but it will probably sound better too.

Yes

I don't mean to be pissy but that's the way I come across, even in person I come off pissy to most people. :\

Oh well, deal with it and have a beer.

I do, however, see the point of your post now.

Now for another don't...
What I dont understand is why people want to make their car loud yet slower. There's no point in a big loud piece of **** sounding exhaust for a very slightly modified 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine that makes 112 HP at the flywheel, if that; hence my questions at the end of my previous post, posted with hope that there is something that he is truly after that I can help him with but is misguided through either inexperience and/or his peers.

get a high flow CATALYTIC CONVERTER and keep the stock muffler. [and take that ricy tip off!]

IF you gain ANY horespower from a exhaust system on a honda engine it will be around 1-2 hp THATS IT!

most of the time you just loose low end power for a minimal kick in the mid to high range. now if you even pretend to drag race you know that you car lacks in low end power and any loss in that range will dramaticly slow you take off down. dosnt sound so cool now does it?
stick with what ive said and youll no doubt still stick out in a crowd

just think someone comes up to you and says "wow what a piece of ****, it dosnt even have a exhaust system" then you take off and leave them in the dust while there migraine grows by the sound of there straight pipes!

Punch holes in your muffler, itll sound like a bat from hell with major gas.

1. take off the tip, please.
2. get 2.5" mandrel bend piping or full catback exhaust.
3. get straight through high flow cat
4. install,

some exhaust are louder than others, but why would you want to ride around with your exhaust blasting all the time? It gets really annoying after a while, after my tip fell off from my old pacesh*tter it got really lound and i would hear a deep loud as hell tone everytime i hit every gear, it was irritating. Everytime i got out of first gear it seemed like i was gunnin the 1/4 mile.

Why do people always bring up low end when it comes to drag racing? When your drag racing your below 5500rpms only when you first launch. And your only in that area for about 2-3 seconds. After that you shouldn ever drop below 5000. Drag racing is all about top end.

true it is but
why do you want to wait for the power?
that 2-3 seconds could be 1-2 seconds shaving off that time is AWESOME!

Default you want loud?

No cat and no muffler makes my car louder then all hell.

As a side note this is the way the car came. I will be adding a cat and muffler in the near future (no 4.5 tips for me).
