Glove box, so no one jacks it. I remember some guy mounting it on his dash and a theif tore it out within a few weeks. The gauges are fairly useless (too small and bad resolution on the display), so it's pretty much just for show if you mount it outside.

Search for "VAFC" under archived in Integra Type R there is about 4 pages worth of vafc related topics.

I've got the same delima. I just got mine in the mail, and trying to decide where to put it. I saw a video of a ITR with it mounted to the AC duct to the right of the steering wheel which looked good.

mouting it outside of the glove box is safe, just get some tint and it would be extremely difficult to see it where ever you mounted it.

I just saw one mounted in the ashtray at a autocross today. Very pimp. Painted black so it blends in

I removed the ashtray and did a little dremmel work, fits great, not too noticable, and easy to hit the "Highest rev" button, and easy to change VTEC for the highway (4.78 FD ownz me)

Changing vtec for the highway. lol. great suggestion.

I would put it for in the glovebox unless you want a blue glow to show off.

Here's my setup:

It requires a bit of trimming to look clean, but worth it IMHO.

Almost as good as the glovebox, just leave some slack in the wiring and you can sit it in your lap.

What, no cup holder?

I went with the glovebox install. No need to look a the thing once it is setup. Plus it's hidden.

but I definately like the mounting in the ash try area or below it, very creative.
