Default Alignment: Caster Question

I recently hd my alignment done, and noticed my caster settings are a bit weird. My final caster settings were 1.00 degrees on the left and only .05 degrees on the right. I'm not sure what spec is right of the top of my head, but that doesn't seem right that there is such a difference.

Can anyone comment? How would this effect handling?

Not sure what the spec is either or what the error tolerance left to right is but i nomally set up customers alignment with a .5 degree difference to make up for road crown. According to your numbers you have about a degree diff.

Depending on your camber readings it may or may not drift slightly to the right.

Post other numbers if you can.

It does want to drift right slightly, but not when I let go of the wheel, when I hold the wheel perfectly straight.

Is your steering wheel straight when the vehicle is travelling in a straight line with your hands off the wheel?

If your car basicaly tracks straight but your steering wheel is off center slightly then most likely your front toe is off a small amount.

I'm not sure where the wheel is, but when I let go it tracks straight. My wheels is off center slightly. My toe is at -.05 degrees on each side.

Any other suggestions?

0.5 degrees of caster is not that significant. Caster is not adjustable on stock Integra suspension. If the steering wheel is slightly off center, it's no big deal-you just have to adjust the toe equally on both sides to center the steering wheel.

Flux, if it tracks straight then i wouldn't worry about the caster readings.

If you want you wheel perfectly staright then let me know which way its off slightly and i'll tell you what you have to do. peace.

The steering wheel is off a slight amount to the left - meaning that to go straight the wheel is turned to the left, when the wheel is straight the car drives slightly right.

Thanks for the help. Appreciate it.

wow, not much caster there

to correct the offcenter wheel, just adj the wheels slightly to the right on the the steering rack. Turn it the same exact amount on the left and right side.

It sounds like your toe was adjusted with the steering wheel off center.
