Default radiator?

just swapped from a 2.2 sohc to h22. i was wondering about the radiator... does my single cam radiator support my h22? im having a problem with over heating when im stopped. i changed out the thermostat last week, but the problem still comes up... just less frequently.
what do you guys think? possible radiator or water pump?

Ha, Ha, the heat man got you too! My same problem still has not been solve. Today I took my car to the radiator shop where I bought my rad from and the guy did a thermo reading on it and he said everything seem normal . The fans kick in when it's suppose too (209 - 213 degree reading on the radiator using the thermo reader). It seems that might just have a bad sending guage sensor.

not to sure if the fans turn on. i guess i can test it tomorrow. the easiest way to test the fans is to just let the car idle right?

ok... i got more info now.

i just let my car idle till it was at norm operating temp. the car was fine. so, i took it out for a couple hard drives for about 5 minutes. came back and let the car idle... it started heating up.
i popped the hood and noticed that the cooling fan never turns on. instead, the ac fans turns on (while the air conditioner is off). i noticed while the fan was on the car would over heat 2 bars, but as soon as the fan turned off the car cooled down again. WTF. anyone know what the problem here is.
this only happends at a stand still too. the car is fine when its driving. is the ac fan programmed to turn on if the cooling fan isnt working? if so, why does the car only over heat when the fan is on????
