Spend $100 at Harbor Freight for a press, might be less then what you'll pay a shop... A press is nice to have if you have the room.

Can't tell if your being a smartass or not. $100 is $100, take your choice. You'll spend it either way, and one way you end up with a free tool. Seems easy. "Teach a man to fish..."

i got a press from harbor freight and i know it'll go to good use...no way was i even trying to be a smartass. i was just meaning i need it all. and, as much work as i'm doing lately i'll break down and get all the equipment i need so i can do everything that i can in the comfort of my own garage. i abide by your quote on teaching a man to fish...but sometimes it's a waste of time and effort. thanks for your input.
