b16 or gsr trans?

does anyone know the diff in quater mile e.t. from havin a 98' gsr trans and switching to a 00' b16 trans on a all motor car?

I switched trans but never ran my car yet.I know the quicker you go through the gears the faster.

nope..typical response...my gears are shorter..so go through them quicker... *shakes head*...you loose time when you shift...hence slower...less changes is faster to a certaing point...

Are you kidding? You're gonna shift 3 times any way you look at it. If you're geared lower then you'll accelerate faster. It's not like we're talking about a 10 speed tranny that will require 9 shifts!
