Default Vtech cuting on then off?

Yeah im hitting vtech and sometime it works and sometime it doesnt... it will work and then just stop and cut back on again... is my silinoid going or my be the gasket or what ...?

how's the oil pressure in your engine? it could be the solenoid is either plugged up or on it's way out.

? im getting an oil pressure gauge soon but can it be the gasket for the silenoid is gone and im losing pressure?

Have you checked the actual oil level?

EDIT: Not to pick nits, but it's VTEC - Vtech is a phone.

is your ecu throwin any codes?

it could be a multitude of things..spool valve...oil pressure switch...oil pressure/level..ecu

I had that same problem awhile ago.. Came to find out i was down 3 litres of oil.. Topped it up and it worked fine ever since.. No oil = no oil pressure = no VTEC

no im not throwin any codes **** i wish i was so i could fix it... i havent checked my oil level... but is that mainly all it could be... nothin to seriouse...

It could be any number of things, but it is most likely the oil level. It always helps to eliminate the simplest possibilities first when trying to trouble-shoot something.
