Default knock sensor

what would be the best way to put a knock sensor on a b18b? it doesn't have a spot for it and I need it.

you need a 12X1.25 tap. I have a knock sensor for sale of your interested.

yup. thats what Ima do. actually since its in the car. I did a search on it and this guy had an idea of welding a nut with the correct thread and pitch on top the the bolt that goes thru the alternator bracket. Ima do it that way since theres like no room.

ya, it's a bitch, alone just to replace it with it already installed.

I had to replace my knock sensor and wasn't much room to work with. Of course, it's an h22 into a civic, so no room anywhere

i installed a knock sensor on my ls block in less than a minute with the tap. I dont see any other efficent way to do it.

I had a spare nut from a motor mount and welded it to one of the alternator bracket bolts. then tighten the bolt back to the bracket and then installed the knock sensor. pretty easy and it works fine heres a pic courtesy of c-speedracing. mine came out the same way except I didn't drill and tap.
