the guy had no paper work that came with the motor. but said its legit. do you need paper work for the motor to be smog in a eg6? its said 95 integra GSR.

 

Depends what state you're in. My state, they didn't give a ratass.

 

no papers needed
your in cali so some smog shops will tell you to go to the state referee to make sure that you can put that particular motor in your car
there they will check the vin number to make sure its legal, smog it and do a visual inspection to make sure that all emissions equipment is hooked up and working properly

 

so the state referees can tell that its a GSR and what its needed to pass smog?

 

yes... the ref did not check my vin... just keep quiet with the ref.. speak when spoken to.
