well as u know my car got broken into recently ..i plugged my new ecu started em up.. i know its gonna die cause its still wired up for vafc conn(which they took) and imma get a new one soon .... but i noticed a green arrow sign lit up on the cluster... what does that mean?..

if it is the arrow that points up, then it is the "shift light". It is supposed to come on to tell you to upshift to maximize your fuel economy. Those geniuses at Honda!

 

hmmm could it be cause i had a autometer gauge and they took it off ??

also this light comes on even before i turn the car on..so i dont see how it could be some sort of shift light.

 

i have never heard of this said light.

could be, I don't think it will hurt anything, besides i'm sure you know when to shift. Its right before the car goes BAPBAPBAPBAP!!!!! If it bothers you take the light out of it.

 

actually it doesnt bother me if it is indeed that... and nothing else... ne body know why it stays on though?

 

Yep..just an shift light.

 

I had that shift light when I first bought my HX.... But now it only lights up before I start the car. It doesnt tell me when to shift.... Not that I need it, but what could have caused it to stop working properly???
