do any of you guys know if the mini shift light is bright as bright as the regular sized shift light.

 

If you are talking about the autometer unit, the mini light is designed to have the same features (to include brightness) as the full size unit. i saw a guy on this board who had a mini shift light hidden in his ac vent, it looked really good, he said he had no problems seeing it. HTH

I am mounting a LED in my tripple pillar gauge pod for a shift light, less to tip off the police as to what i have under my hood

I like the Hondata "Shift light"

It uses the Check Engine light as the shift light

Its kinda funny but it works

 

I have a friend who has the autometer light. He hid his under his steering column. Its bright and its easy to hide. I think its a pretty stealth and effective mod.

 

the AC vent is pretty stealthy
