If you are talking about the autometer unit, the mini light is designed to have the same features (to include brightness) as the full size unit. i saw a guy on this board who had a mini shift light hidden in his ac vent, it looked really good, he said he had no problems seeing it. HTH

I found this, it can be mounted anyware and you can make it as bright or dim (or loud) as you want.

I have a friend who has the autometer light. He hid his under his steering column. Its bright and its easy to hide. I think its a pretty stealth and effective mod.
