i started a thread about this a while back and alot of people recommended the axxis ultimates as a good compromise for street n track. And since then, i've read many more confirmations of this in other threads, and soon as my pads wear out.. .plan on gettin a set for myself.

it all depends upon what your intended use is...street or track...if you do 99% of your driving on the street, anything other than OEM Honda is a complete waste of money.
Axxis Ultimates. Even just a little bit more bite than stock goes a LONG way.
They actually saved me from getting into an accident. I know that if I still had the OEM pads on, my front end would be destroyed already...or even worse.
I love performance mods that help with safety as well.

Many people waste money on brakes when they really do not help. If you can get into ABS just by pressing hard on the brake pedal, then your brakes are already out performing your tires, and upgraded brakes will not make you stop any faster because they'll lock up the tires just like the current brakes will. Maybe you'll end up with a firmer pedal or less pedal effort, but that doesn't make you stop any better, it only feels like it. The only reason to upgrade your brakes in this case is for heat reasons, but that's only for serious road course racers. You'll never see heat problems on the street... It takes hard braking from 115 mph to like 20-30mph with sticky tires to get cheap AutoZone pads to fade, and then they recover quickly, so they definitely have my seal of approval for street use and a few laps on a road course. The lifetime warranty makes the price right too.
So, if your brakes are out performing your tires, then you need to get stickier tires before you'll make the most of your current brakes or make use of any of the power of upgraded brakes. Otherwise, you're just throwing your money into a fire.

ditto, I really respect a company that goes to the manufacturer of OEM pads and has them make upgrades. These pads work great and have very, very little dust.
