Default Brakes

Hi.. Has anyone had any experience with Raybestos brake pads? Are they the same quality as Honda's OEM brake pads? I'm not sure which one I should go with Honda pads or Raybestos.

OEM is always the safest bet. Nothing beats factory reliability.

You probably won't feel any difference unless you autocross or something similar.

no one uses oem brake pads. for any car. Raybestos pads are some of the best pads on the market.

well i used them, had some front pads for my ej8. They last and grab pretty well. I'm not sure which one i went with but payed $50 and i think they were ceramic. Also they gave hardly any brake dust, with the decent stopping power with barely any brake dust, i'd buy them again. Just recently took them off and put them on my girls ej8 and i felt a big difference from her cheap dusty brake pads (not oem). Last week i put in some hawk hps pads and dude they grab pretty well. Brake dust is really low like they claim. If your spending a good $50 on some brake pads i say might as well invest in the hawk hps pads.

*note the hawk hps pads are made for oem replacement with better braking power.

I use OEM pads They're inexpensive, and they last a good long time with decent stopping power. For the $25 I spend every year or so, there isn't anything better.
