Default Ls/Vtec... couple of questions come inside =)

aiites... I've finally getting the ball on my ls/vtec rolling...
Set up
b18b
b16a2 '96 head
b16a2 intake manifold
gsr camshafts (going turbo later on)
probe rods / itr pistons 10.8 compression ratio
Hondata s200

It's going to be going into my 94 teg...

1.Is there anything else I need for my car when i dyno/tune it? ie feul pressure regulator? better fuel pump instead of ls fuel pump? etc...

2.Know any good tunners in the northwest area? Seattle/portland/bellingham area?

3.I know nobody likes to guestimate, but shoot me an estimated whp that I would be making with my set up so I don't have too high hopes...

4.By the way, I'm an idiot, how do u tell hte difference btwn obd1 injectors and obd2 injectors? Will my obd1 ls injectors go right in fine?

if your going turbo then you should just get some lower compression pistons instead of ITR pistons...anything under 10:1 for turbo depending on how much your going to boost.
..or you might want to just consider a Full LS with turbo and some turbo cams...itll save more money for proper tuning and probably be better with less complications and with the benifit of proper tuning....

Well my reason for going the high compression route is I like the fact how Boosted Itr's have performed and put out in numbers.

My goals are probably really tiny compared to what many people on the board look for.

I'm just looking for a high 12 sec daily driven street tire full interior teg. No record 10's/ 11's for me. No 400/500+ whp car for me. Whatever takes me to high 12's and I'm happy haha. I think boosted itrs run high 12s don't they?

But yah, besides that, I already have all this stuff and its kinda too late to turn around.

By the way I posted in this all motor forum is because I'll be running n/a for sometime anyways and my questions are more relating to the issues of what I need when I tune so I don't show up to the shop and they tell me go get this this this and this and then come back.

If this is in the wrong forum move it, and sorry!

nah this is the right froum ;] i think i rember hearing 10.0 compression ratio is ideal for turbo, but it does depend on application. it wouldnet be a bad idea to peep the link in my sig.

I'd add these to the list:

GSR Oil Pump
GSR Water Pump
ITR Injectors

Those are highly recommended for LS/VTEC. I use them as well.

ITR injectors are 240cc just like most othr honda injectors.... if you want to go OEM injectors but bigger than that, go with prelude injectors... 310cc.
