Default Please help With D16z6.......................................

Has anyone ever built a d16z6? there was a forum about a 2.0 d16 and i talked to a machine shop and they said that the biggest i could get it was 1.8. does anyone know what king of power i can get with the engine fully built?

Read this thread, the motor is a d16y8, so the numbers compared to your z6 should be about the same.

im just about to start building my n/a d16z6. im probably gonna have i/h/e, cam, camgear, some higher compression pistons(probably around 11.1), skunk2 intake manifold, some ecu tuning( still not sure of hondata or vafc) and some other goodies like a new clutch. im hopin for about 150 whp, but im not sure if ill get it... hope that helps

you should be able to... i blew mines up... it made 142 at the wheel with 125 lb of torque....
