Default ITR TB Into a Y8 Intake Mani

How much work is it to fit an ITR Throttle body onto a Y8 intake manifold? Could I do it myself and if i did what tools would be needed. How much would it cost to get it done.

Thanks...

Bolt on.

You need a ITR gasket and a dremel to port the intake manifold to match the size of the TB.

56mm

Unless you have a machine shop and a decent understanding of mechanical engineering I wouldn't bother with the TB.

don't mess with your old tb... just buy another one... the itr is already big enough for your d series unless it's built

Suggest a newer B series VTEC or H/F series. all 60mm.

I've never seen conclusive dyno results to support that bigger TBs = more whp.

I've seen people telling of how it increases throttle response, but had no real measurable power gains on the dyno.

Is this a fully built engine?

Why did you choose a bigger TB of all the possible mods out there?

Just curious...
