I need some seriously help...I ran into some problems last night doing the swap in my car...its a complete d16y8 swap (OBD II to OBD 1) and I had everything converted over but the rear mount..its seems to be short about 1 inch.I had to changed the driver side mount and left the other mounts the same. Pls help so i can complete this.any help is appreicated!!!

Is it an automatic to manual conversion? I think I recall reading soemthing about the transmission mount not being the same.

 

no its a 5 sp swap.

 

are you using the del sol mount or y8 mount for the back one? the stock one should work, or at least that's what i've heard.

 

just wondering why you would go through all that to put a d16y8 back in?

 

the bottom end went out on the z6 so i decide to go with the newer motor. I changed the mount to the z6 rear mount and it worked.thanks everyone.
