Default JE 9:1 GSR pistons same CR in B16?

I was just wondering if the compression ratio of some 9:1 GSR pistons would yield the same 9:1 in a B16?

Thanks guys.

Less that that, the difference in the PR3 cylinder head volume (42.70cc) over the P72 (41.60cc) alone would drop you down to ~8.8:1... That is to say if you put a PR3 on a B18C block running JE slugs that yield a static compression ratio of 9.0:1 with an 87.2mm stoke, it's going to be less when you swap them into a B16A (77.4mm stroke, less volume at BDC)... In a B16A, 77.4mm x 81.0mm (std. bore) with a PR3 cylinder head you're looking at a static C/R of ~8.10:1... Hope this is understandable... Peace

Gotcha

I thought it would lower it quite substantially but had wrong info. coming from all directions.

Thanks Kataku
