is there any good muffler in the market for a turbo civic with b16 that's not scandalously load but still giving good performance?
it's ok to be loud at wot but not at part throttle or during idling..i'm sick of hearing the exhaust burble every day. i don't have a muffler installed at the moment just the downpipe and a straight pipe with a resonator which terminates just before the gas tank.

is there such a thing as a silent muffler that does hurt turbo performance?

 

u can try the ES oval muffler with a 22" resonator. i think kteller said that it comes in 3" also.

 

I know Apexi has a 3 inch turbo muffler that has a nice tone, you could go with 3 inch custom bent and this muffler and I think you would be happy. However as long as you want power nothing will be completly silent..

 

Power makes noise.....Period!
