sohc turbo....tranny problems?
I am having trouble making up my mind on the motor swap I want. I have a DX hatch right now with an oil burning motor.
I can get the d16z6 swap for around 600 bucks and turbo it very soon, but how strong are the transmissions on those engines??
I could also shell out the extra cash for a ls, but then I wont be able to go tubo for a while.
All I want is a daily 13 sec car.
In a nut shell, will a D16z6 tranny handle 13 sec 1/4 mile power?? consistantly

I have all of those except the Z6 head. The Z6 P28 ECU was required to use the Hondata! Other than having a slightly lower CR, what other reason is there to use the Z6 head?

Z6 head flows better

would it be pointless to build my d15b? The tranny is weak i hear, but I would have a solid bottom end. Or would a low milage stock d16z6 be better for turbo ( I am looking for 10 lbs of boost) that should equate to a little over 200 whp tuned

i always thought the y8 head flowed better. especially due to the intake manifold
