To all those who have a shift light HELP ME!
Hey guys i bought an AutoMeter shift light ONLY, no tach and i was just wondering where the green wire goes?...I know the black is ground and the red power right?...so where do i put the green one...if you guys have any pics that would be great...thanks a lot guys!....-Roger

If i remember right, the Autometer shift light uses little pills. Each one is set for a different rpm. So you get the pill for the rpm you want and that's it.

no i know when the light turns on wiggie is right i have pills that go in the front but where does the green wire go to tell the rpm's are?thats what i need to know!....-Roger
not sure if this will work for an LS but use this....

find your rpm signal wire, and tap into that, use tap clip thingies, dont cut your harness!

You'll like the 5354 pro shift light. I have one and I'm about to install it. IM Trinity (Megan) on this board to get a pill kit if you dont have one. She'll give you a good price on one. So bump for her.
You need to tap into the harness that is to the right of the master break cylinder. Look for a blue wire.
You can use T-taps, but they usually are too big.
Here is the wiring layout:
Red = Power
Black = Ground
Green = Tach signal
Blue wire on harness = Tach signal from car
That's about it.
