Heres the problem! I have a 1990 Honda Civic hatch a standard 4 speed. I was driving one dayand the ride just gave out. The car felt as if it wasn't getting fuel. So I replaced the fuel pump, filter, injectors, spark plugs and wires. I was wondering if I need or if the problem is the fuel sending unit???

 

so it cut out and won't restart? does it crank over real strong with no hesitation?

 

Could be a lot of things. Did you check for spark? Get a fuel guage at the fuel filter and check for pressure.

 

oh also make sure it's not the timing belt. if it cranks take the oil cap off and see if the valves/springs move with someone else cranking the ignition. i was driving my 89 crx si one day and the timing belt broke and it had the same symptoms. luckily didn't bend anything

 

Well I replaced the distributor and it started but shut off again. I wonder if it has to do with the TPS on the throttle body?
