what about zdyne??
i see everybody is talking about turbo and do it right with hondata. then i see for some the hack works just fine. what about zdyne gold? its fully adjustable and in my case it would be cheap because i already got a one wire conversion and the rep said i just pay the difference to go gold. what do you guys think.. zdyne would be good route, huh?
I never had any problems with the ZDyne SECU... i'm in the process of moving over to a different system and selling my ZDyne, but that move has nothing to do with anything being 'wrong' with the ZDyne. With the ZDyne tuned, on a stock block/stock head B16A with a small-ish T3 turbo, the car put out 285 (corrected... it did 288 non-corrected) to the wheels @ 14 psi... Running at the track, its best time was a 12.08 @ 117 in a full interior street-driven CRX on 24.5x8x13 slicks. No problems at all with ZDyne... i loved it, and it was easy to tune. I'll try to find a dyno chart to post up here...
Here's what I did with my Z-Dyne, and a t3/t4 46 trim wheel.
This is a b16a with ITR cams and intake manifold, a cheated bend 2.25" downpipe, 3" Thermal R&D Exhaust, SOMETHING making LOTS of oil smoke(I think it was the turbo), and was at 15 psi. I know I know, wayyyy too high for the numbers I made.
My pride and joy? 179.9 ft lbs by 4500 RPM.
Eat that all you "JRSC's make torque earlier in the powerband than turbo's" beyotches!

ZDyne is a good solution for people running OBD0 since it drops right in.
As for 179 wtq at 4500...with 15 psi of boost, I would sure hope so. I don't miss my JRSC ez-bake oven
, but I can tell you at 15 psi of boost (which is totally doable now with the LHT intercooler), it would stomp your 179 wtq into the ground.

ZDYNE is #1 for OBD0...while not the most sophisticated system, the level of tunability speaks for itself. LHT performance uses ZDYNE for its cars including CRVRX 's car with CRV/VTEC JRSC intercooled 8-9psi

hey SiR Kid notice he made about 175 TRQ at4500...but went up from there

Yep, Agreed. Zdyne gold worth it. Good tunability, easy interface. Drop in for all OBD-0 cars.
Never had a problem, always works fine. I gotta hit a dyno.
