If you are trying to take it off then you need to just be able to get it off don't worry about the lbs of tq.

If you are putting it back on then its 181 ft-lbs of tq

I cant tell you what it takes to get it off exactly, but a 1/2 drive breaker bar with a 5ft cheater wouldnt break mine loose. I ended up paying the guy at the corner garage to bust it loose with an impact. later on I bought the same impact gun he had, with 600 ft/lbs of torque in reverse.

expensive, but definately worth it.

Thats the one I have.

$125 bucks on ebay new.

Havnt found ANYTHING it cant break loose. But I havnt had to do the crank pulley since I've had it. Had to cheater bar it with the crank holding tool.

I got mine off with a 1ft breaker bar, a 5ft pipe, and my 180 lb body. Came off on the first jump.

The hardest part was getting my GF to step on the brakes hard enough...

a mac 3 foot breaker bar 3/4 inch drive and hardened impact sockets.

I really am not a fan of impacts but mine can make short work of anything... sometimes too much power though.

why wouldnt you throw a stock wheel on there or somethiing so you could break it loose while the car is on the ground.... then nobody has to step on breaks

i used a 3/4" slide thingey (it looks like this --------0- the 0 being the head and it slides) and a 5 foot cheater bar. we broke 2 ratchets and 2 breaker bars, and an impact gun did NOTHING for us.

i found that making sure teh dimple is completely out makes a much bigger diff than the tool used to spin the nut. i pulled 2 axle nuts in about 8 minutes last night, the guy that i was working with spent hours fighting with em a few weeks ago....using a nice punch rather than a screwdriver to pop the dimple out made all the diff.

if your going to do it with the car in the air it's easier to do it with
the car running. That way the break boost works. I'd much rather do
it on the ground with a stock wheel. Less time consuming and All AROUND
SMARTER
But I don't have to since I have a cordless impact.

Then I would have to put back together the other stuff I had already taken apart. My stock wheels wont fit back on anyway anymore...
