I would be willing to bet that without a turbo it will take a little from the top and put it on the bottom end. Hard to say without knowing the specs.

i am probably about to purchase a y8 head from "Panda EK" on this board. He sais the head is ported, has a cam gear, jg turbo cam, and 3ang. valve job. I'm just trying to get an idea of what power i would make with this setup. I am planning on staying N/A for a few months until i get the money for the turbo. I am not sure of the specs on the cam though.

dont put the head on untill you go turbo unless you want to loose power. Honda doesn't use a turbo grind cam because it dosen't have a turbo!

well i don't think i would loose power. He had the head on his car N/A and was planning on going turbo, but never did. He said that he definantely made a good power increase with it.

I had a JG turbo cam for my d16a6 and I liked it. It didn't breathe as well on the top end, but it had a **** load more torque down in the lower rpms.

It will work fine. I was NA for 3 months with it. Runs fine. Son't worry about it and save money for the turbo kit.
