Just installed Action Clutch....
I just installed the Action 2MD clutch and Fidanza Flywheel on my h22. I had a hell of a time changing the tranny in my accord chassis, but I have a weird sound coming from what sounds like the tranny. If I am in 1st gear and give it a lot of gas, I dont hear anything. But if I dont give it a lot of gas, it sounds like the engine s bogging, but it sounds like a bearing or something. like from the axles, or maybe from the tranny. I dont know what the heck it is but it scares me. Would it be something wrong with the tranny even if its ok if I give it gas? My setup is a 96 accord, 98 jdm h22, basic bolt ons, and front engine mount insert.
Did you top your tranny off with oil? If it's full and you pull the axles out, you'll usually lose about a quart (assuming you didn't drain it beforehand).

Probably just not used to the puck noise from the disc. This is pretty common.
By the way. We have an NX remote bottle opener in stock at the shop----give a call tomorrow. Number is in my sig.

I have the Action 1MS. It's the single diaphram pressure plate with the 6 puck sprung disk. It doesn't make the noise you're describing, but maybe that's because I have the sprung disk? I dunno, man...I would definitely get more info before you drive that thing too much. Better safe than sorry.

They are a dealer for Action clutch and can probably give you a definitive answer since I'm sure they have feedback from many users.

I think what your experiancing there is clutch chatter, sence the 2md is an unsprung hub clutch there is nothing there to take away the shaking and vibration caused when a clutch is engauging...
Someone please correct me if i'm wrong..

I have action stage 1 md unsprung and I have no chatter at all. They say the sprung will actually chatter a little more. I never had any strange noises with it either. Unless you slip it it will whine quite a bit.

What kind of whining noise are you talking about? I dont drop my clutch for everyday driving. I like to slowly slip it to keep the ride smooth.

when you letting it out slowely it will whine. It makes the sound when you do not fully disengage it and it slips. Because it is a 6 puck.
