What do you guys think of ferrals ?
For the people that don't know what they are, there the little things all the way to the right in the pic.
Just want to hear what you guys think, this was the only option I had to install my oil lines. And when I had one hooked up, the one going to the block well the line just fell off. But it was because I was wiggling the line back and forth and up and down plus I did not have it tighten all the way. So what do you guys think about them ?

they were a bitch to get on straight on the nylon tubing. once i got them straight though, they were fine.
i hated the hokie oil pressure gauge T setup, so i am going with a remote oil filter and connecting my oil pressure gauge there. once i get everything done i will post pics.
just my measely $0.02.

I'm using the copper tubbing to, how tight did you guys tightin the fitting down with the ferral inside of it ? Also the one ferral that fell off I had to reuse. It looked fine but it just would not slide all the way down the tubing, it did go on the tubbing though. And everything is hooked up now and no leaks, do you guys think that ferral will be fine ?

dont use ferrels.. i use them on air brakes all the time at work.. and yes they work.. and they would stand up to over 100 psi.. but its ghetto.. just get a 1/4" steal braided line.. its no second gessing.
you said its for oil press.. so your thinking about running a mechanical gauge in the cab? thats along way to run that line, and alot of area that could fail. ide hate to see a oil leak in yo car.

No I am running an electricaly one, I just don't want the sender hanging off the back of the block so I mounted it on the fire wall.
