i will be converting my car to a stick soon. but i want to know whats the best B-series tranny to get???

I want LSD , but i will going to put in lower gears in it too.

 

ITR or B16 with LSD

why lower gears??

 

so i can take off like a mother ******. i put lower gears in my chevelle ad i loved it. but, the trannys life shorter

 

NA - type r or SiR II
turbo - LS.

 

where is a good place tobuy a tranny??? ITR or B16?

I happen to think boosted cars with ITR trannies is quite nice

I guess it depends on the driving though...

 

itr w/ LSD

 

JDM ITR w/lsd 4.78 FD that tranny is the ****.

 

y21 (JDM delsol VTEC w/ LSD) Nice ratios, not as tight as a b16, but incredible accel with a great crusing 5th gear. Perhaps the best tranny in my mind. You can have incredible 1st/2nd, long, yet powerful 3rd, and still not hit VTEC in 5th till about 100mph, its the ****.

 

Honestly, I'd rather have a USDM ITR with a JDM ITR FD.

i can agree with that but, to truly exploit a turbo's potential, the higher the gear the better.
