differences between b16 tranny and itr tranny
whats the differences between the b16 tranny and itr tranny...well besides the lsd
i'm going turbo and was wondering if it had better gear ratios for the turbo
my friend is saying that they have the same ratios and the only difference would be the lsd

so the only differences would be on the jdm itr tranny
and it's 4th, 5th, and the final drive
i heard that the 4.785 fd limits top speed to like 110 or 115
so i guess it would be better to keep my b16 tranny and just find a kazz or quaife lsd

well the 98+spec ITR JDM tranny had the 4.785 FD.. the pre 98 ITR JDM trannies were identical to the b16a trannies.. and actually if u notice the 98+ITR SPEC trannies actually have slightly longer 4th and 5th gears.. but with the 4.7FD basically makes up for that..and they do not top out @110 more like 140+
