yea i think you should move it to the back as long as u have the space in the trunk, it makes alot more room in the engine bay to for cold air or just more air flow
The intake will fit with a stock size battery, just make sure the positive clamp is well insulated because that aluminum tube is really close!!!
I've seen some guys at the auto-x races run a motorcycle battery. as long as you don't have a lot of electronic equipment and you don't run things without the engine running, it should work.

i would like to know how to move the battery to the back..what do you need to hold down the battery? any drillings require? running the 4g wire is the same as running a positive 4g wire for a system right?

It will fit with an intake just depends on what brand and if its for your car or not. Some people move it to the back so they can fit a 99-00 Civic Intake on it.

You can use a lot of things to hold the battery down. But yeah mostly you would screw the box down or make some kind of holder for it. There are quite a few threads with more info on it if you go here you will find some. https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch

I was thinking about getting a sealed battery. Can I lie it down and will it still function the same? thanks for the pics. Btw its an Akimito intake with a 3in filter (got it cheap)

i ran into the same problem, no room for the intake, move it to the trunk, its way easyer and makes more room to work with under the hood. i used "Mr.Gaskets Battery relocation kit" it came with everything needed to move your battery with out any problems..
Here is how to move the Bat to the trunk...

88-91 Civic/CRX intake should work, however if you have no bat you can use the 92-95 Civic and it will look a lot cleaner, probably flow better, and is usually cheaper.

not a great pic..... but u get the idea....
its a Weapon R intake... it worked fine with both the STD DPFI manifold and my Z6 one right now... just barely touches the hood and the fender

i have an aem cai and its fine with the battery where it is...I am going to upgrade to a larger diameter intake and all I have to do is move the battery forward towards the radiator and that is plenty of room for any cai.
if you turn the battery so the negative terminals is towards the intake, or if you get a battery that has side "post" terminals you should be fine
