i have a d16y7, building the bottom end, eagle rods, not sure what pistons, and keeping the non-vtec head, but i have a y8 intake manifold, aem fuel rail, aem fpr, b&m fp guage, walboro255gph pump.. etc, sorry rambling.. what gasket do i use ? and do i need to port match it to the head ?, p&p it anyways

 

get the matching y8 intake gasket. if you're taking the time to part, like u said do the gasket match

then just tkae the gasket to the head, and marker the area and port out marail and then polish it smooth... anyone ever do this.. diy port match/polish.. it can't be that hard, just a port, not like the valve port
